When I was travelling a lot, I kept a small booklet in my bag where I would note down (in old fashioned ink) any travel related incident. I had a theory that every trip always had some sort of incident, something out of the ordinary that was noteworthy. I filled over 2 booklets with these musings, proving my theory correct, although it also proves that 'out of the ordinary' could be classed 'ordinary' if it always happens. Because most of my travelling was flying, it offered a wide variety of potential issues I could jot down, from flight delays to passenger related stories such as the fat bloke who sat near me. Anyway, I am pondering if I could reignite this for my relatively short (40mins) commute into the office, so I will be on the lookout this afternoon. Watch this space.
