It's best not to say.

The world's best chef has sadly passed away, but I'm wondering what is meant by the 'world's best chef' tag.  Did he enter a competition?  Was he fastest whisking a soufflé?  Because good food is so subjective, I'm not sure anyone can be the worlds best without some sort of criteria.  A bit like the worlds best driver is not Lewis Hamilton, but he's the quickest over 200 miles or so, round a track, in a Formula 1 car etc., etc.
