So, the high court has decided that a man is a man, and a woman is a woman. What they call themselves or what changes they have been through to get to what they call themselves is irrelevant. I think that makes sense, but if not you probably know what I mean. It's all been a bit confusing really with all those pronouns trying to trump the biological aspect. I've always thought we could live with both i.e. what we are and what we think we are, so hopefully it's a bit clearer now.
It's Easter starting tomorrow, so we have 4 days off to tuck into lots of chocolate and in my case there will be a few birthday gifts (I hope!) to open on Saturday. After a full weekend last week tiling, I've managed 2 runs and a bike into work this week, hopefully get another of each in before Monday. My target was 2 bike rides + 3 runs, but I've only had time/weather/inclination to do 1 bike ride a week (I count a to and form work as 1 bike ride). The Spanish training camp (holiday) is in 3 weeks, so I really do need to get some pedaling in before then to make it more comfortable.
