Blimey, last post was in March. Since then, I've lost a job (redundant) found another (crap pay), ran a triathlon that ended up being an aquathon (rain stopped play on the bike) and reached the grand old age of 60 with a jolly good party.
The job thing is on my mind most of all. Made redundant in September and it's now the middle of December without anything decent. However, I have a 2nd interview on Thursday for what looks like a good job fairly close by. They paid en off with 3 months pay + about a months worth of redundancy so not panicking yet (but getting there).
Running wise, I had a great November due to being off work and therefore with plenty of free time - the highest mileage recorded for me in that month. Just about recovered from a bout of man flue so hopefully get back up to speed this week and go for it over the Christmas break (2 weeks off for me).

It's All Going Swimmingly Well.
Triathlon training is in full swing, and I had my biggest week last week so far. This was despite being busy with the utility room refurbishment (new toilet, new sink, new floor etc. etc.). I remember now why I always put decorating off although it does look much improved - and so it should be with the time/money being spent on it.
Its an official 'rest day' today and my legs feel like they need it. I might go for a bit of a swim this evening though, it seems a shame no to do any training at all, and swimming is definitely the easiest albeit most boring of the disciplines to do.
